Granola is staple for easy snack, breakfast help like sprinkling on yogurt. It is not easy to find completely no nuts product from store. Most of products have a warning about trace of nuts even it doesn't have nuts in ingredients, so I decided to make my own.
Simple granola (Original recipe from Cookie+ kate)
(About 2qt)
5 cup old fashioned rolled oat meal
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 tsp salt
Preheat oven: 350f
- Melt coconut oil, mix with maple syrup and salt.
- Mix with oat meal.
- Spread on baking pan. Bake for 30~mins. Mix in mid point for even cooking.
- Leave to cool.
You can lift up once it get cooled. If you touch/mix before it gets cooled, it’ll get crumbled. I use mason jars to store in my pantry.
